This application delivers information to faculty, students, and School/FoS/AoS secretaries in one of three forms:

  • SIS-Student
  • SIS-Secretary
  • SIS-Faculty

   The semester-based SIS system is an interactive web application that allows data stored on the AIT's Student Information systems to be directly accessed via the World Wide Web using a standard browser. In this way, information presented to you is always up-to-date and any changes you make are immediately reflected on our databases.
Your relationship with the AIT-SIS determines which screens and information you will see. Your menu items are then dynamically built allowing you access to relevant information and services.

Security & Privacy
   In order to protect your personal details, you are required to enter your email Username and Password in order to access SIS. For the security, integrity, and privacy of your personal information it is recommended that you exit your SIS session and close the browser before leaving the computer. By doing this, no one else can look at your details after you leave. The SIS information is accessed using SSL (https) so password and data are encrypted .

   SIS can be used with most web browsers. All processing and data verification is handled by our web servers, so that the application is not dependant on your browser settings. Although client side JavaScript is not required, increased functionality can be obtained by using a browser that is JavaScript compliant or by turning this feature on within your browser. For the best results it is recommended that you use the latest version of your preferred browser (we recommend Internet Explorer 5.5 or Netscape 6.2 for Windows environments and Internet Explorer 5.0 or Netscape 6.2 for Macintosh environments).
